Today’s academic landscape is changing phenomenally and with that the role of academic institutions and educators as well. The guidelines set by authorities are along the same lines wherein it stresses on improving employability of students, focusing on outcome based learning. This essentially means that academic institutions need to play a significant role in shaping the young minds to be academically competent and armour themselves with the right skills.
We, as an institution, have always and consistently emphasized to impart creativity to our students either through structured programs or through informal events. Our Placement Wing is a student led body in consultation and collaboration with experienced and trained academics from various Faculty who have the best of both worlds; Industry/Academia. The objective of PEW is ensure our students are well placed for summer or final placements in large corporates in their respective domains. Our Placement Wing would, therefore:
- Act as an interface between the Academia and Industry Enhance Student’s skills and strategies for job search
- Identify Employers and assess their hiring goals
- Conduct Campus to Corporate Skills and Work-readiness workshops to help students acquire skills and competence to face the real world of work and make them employable
